Set up once, in a minute

1Download and run

Run SaysoSetup.exe. No account and no admin rights needed.

2Check your mic

Pick your microphone and watch the level bar move. Sayso shows you how to allow the mic if Windows blocks it.

3Choose your apps

Sayso lists every app on your PC. Switch off the ones where it should never type.

After that there's nothing to set up again. Sayso starts with Windows and waits by the clock. Click the microphone icon any time to change things.

Smarter than dictation

AI on your voice

"Make that friendlier", "fix the grammar", "write a reply saying I'll be there at 5". Free and private with Ollama on your PC, or your own OpenAI, Claude or Groq key.

Fits every app

In a terminal it types lower-case commands with no full stop. In chat apps it skips the final full stop. Pause mid-sentence and it carries on.

Dictation mode

"Sayso, start dictation" and just talk, no wake word, until you say "that's all".

Reads like you typed it

Drops "um" and "uh", adds capitals, and understands "comma", "question mark", "new paragraph".

Knows your words

Teach it names and terms once: "gear with AI" becomes GearWithAI, every time.

Snippets

"Sayso, insert my email" types your email, address or sign-off.

Your own commands

"Sayso, new tab", "Sayso, open my CRM". Map any phrase to keys, text, a web page or a program.

Any language

English by default, or 90+ languages detected automatically.

Private by design

Your voice stays on your PC

Speech is turned into text on your own computer. Nothing you say is uploaded.

Only listens for its name

It ignores everything until a phrase starts with "Sayso". You can pause it any time.

You choose where it types

Turn Sayso off for any app, such as your banking app or a game.

What we store

Nothing. There's no account. Your voice and everything Sayso types stay on your PC. If you turn on AI with a cloud provider, only the text you ask it to rewrite goes to that provider, with your own key.
